O'Brien & Associates

Deirdre O’Brien, US Immigration Lawyer

Who are we?

O’Brien & Associates is an energetic US business immigration law firm with offices in Kilkenny and New York City.

What do we do?

We handle work visa applications for businesses and individuals, specializing in US immigration advice for Irish companies and entrepreneurs, including in technology, biotech, healthcare, and hospitality sectors.

What is our aim?

To deliver the desired result with courtesy and professionalism.

Our Customers:

Our customers are primarily businesses and individuals with US interests, especially technology companies (both startup and established).  Many of our clients are in the process of re-locating executives and managers to the US to set up or manage US operations, and also key personnel with proprietary knowledge of the company’s products and processes.  We also advise individuals acquiring or starting businesses in the US and for those fortunate enough to have US relatives, we handle family-based green card petitions and citizenship applications.

What were good at:

Familiarising ourselves with individual client needs, providing excellent advice and creative input in every case; making a tough process as seamless as is possible by providing personal service and guidance throughout.  We also keep up to date with ever-changing US immigration laws and procedures.

Whats a good business day for us:

Receiving visa petition approvals always makes our day.  It’s especially gratifying when thinking outside the box was key to getting the case over the line .  We enjoy the challenges!   It’s always a good day when we sign up new clients.  Each case is different; many of our clients have fascinating ideas and products and are exciting to work with.
