Information Meeting in Florence, 9th and 10th Oct, on Horizon 2020 ICT Calls for 2015

The European Commission Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content & Technology  (DG CONNECT) has organized an ICT Proposers Day in Florence, on 9th and 10th October 2014 to promote European ICT Research & Innovation, focusing on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme for 2015. This event is free of charge. It will focus on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2015 in the field of Information & Communication Technologies. More details on

The purpose of the meeting is twofold. Firstly, to provide information to those who would like to enter Horizon 2020 ICT project Calls in 2015 relating to ICT, Internet, Cloud, Societal challenges and Excellent Science. Secondly, the Proposers day in Florence offers an opportunity to build quality partnerships as it will connect academia, research institutes, large companies, entrepreneurs SMEs and government representatives from all over Europe. IT@Cork’s BeWiser representative will attend the Florence meeting, and if an IT@Cork member would like to seek partners for a H2020 project, or you need information about ICT grant opportunities in Horizon 2020, please e-mail Michael Walsh Michael@itcork.ie  who will attend the meeting. Michael will have access to member companies and research institutions who are affiliated to our 6 partner clusters in BeWiser. These are Systematic (Paris), BDigital (Barcelona), Cyberforum (Karlsruhe), Momentum (Belfast), ICT TN institute (Slovenia) and CCS (Cyprus)
