Study online for an MSc (Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing) with School of Mathematical Sciences, UCC

A new opportunity for earning an MSc (Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing) by online and distance methods is being launched by the School of Mathematical Sciences, UCC for 2014-2015. The MSc is open to all graduates with a numerate science/engineering background. The programme aims to educate participants in the theoretical and practical aspects of mathematical problem solving, mathematical model development, creating numerate software solutions and communication of results. Acquisition of practical, real-world and transferrable skills is strongly emphasised.

Online programmes are very flexible and can be combined with busy lifestyles. This is a unique opportunity both in Ireland and the UK.

Please see http://www.ucc.ie/en/ckr36/ for details and please feel free to contact the course coordinator Dr. Kieran Mulchrone (k.mulchrone@ucc.ie) for more information.
