it@cork March Tech Tuesday "From Zero to Data Governance Hero"

"From Zero to Data Governance Hero"

Kindly sponsored by Asystec Ltd

Sustainable data governance is about embracing a methodology and a culture that treats data as a business asset rather than a technology asset, and provides a clear and well defined path to remediate access and ensure that only the right people have acces to the right data at all times.

Attend this session in March to see the step-by-step plan that can help you improve your current data governance efforts and become a Data Governance hero!

During this event you will learn about:

  • Profiling data use & authorisation structure
  • Identifying critical data
  • Reducing excess access
  • Identifing data owners
  • Defining & implementing policies

Also a good practice outline will be provided to support the implementation and maintenance of the Data Governance strategy to minimize resource and cost and to maximise efficiency and return.
