AIB Export Breakfast Seminars - Identifying Winning Export Strategies and Opportunities

Date: 9th October 2014
Venue:
Rochestown Park Hotel, Douglas
Time:
7:30am

Over the coming months, AIB will host a number of breakfast seminars across the country for both existing exporters and businesses planning to export.  We would be delighted if you and your colleagues can attend our Breakfast Seminar which is taking place in the Rochestown Park Hotel on the 9th October at 7.30am . I would also appreciate if you would extent the invitation to your clients, and also include it on your website/events calendar.

The objective of these seminars is to talk through the opportunities that are there for SMEs, the challenges they face, and how they should be managing those challenges. We we would like to extend an invitation to you, your colleagues and your clients.

The seminars will be hosted by John Whelan, AIB’s Export Sector Specialist who will examine:

  • Opportunities and Challenges facing exporters
  • Winning export strategies for an SME’s products and services
  • The key countries where business and consumer demand can provide opportunities for an SME

Bernard McCarthy (Managing Director, DHL Express) will also be speaking at the seminars. He will talk through the key logistics questions that new or expanding exporters need to consider, such as:

  • What is the right transport mode for your product?
  • Which customs formalities do you need to be aware of?
  • What terms of trade (Incoterms) are appropriate to your business?
