OneLook Systems, developers of SafePermit, are pleased to welcome Dermot Harris to their team as Senior Project Manager. Pat King, Managing Director, spoke about the company’s positive experience of recruiting through IT@Cork, “Dermot was a key hire for us as, and, although we used a number of different recruiting tools, Dermot came to us through IT@Cork. We are hoping for the same calibre of applications to fill the new position of Web Application Developer.”

Dermot has joined the Cork software company to help manage new projects in Asia and North America. OneLook Systems has expanded from just two employees in 2012  to 10 employees at the beginning of 2014.

The company recently received international acclaim for SafePermit when Abbott won the President’s Choice Award in Hazard Control by the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council for implementing SafePermit at its headquarters near Chicago. SafePermit is currently being rolled out across more than twenty Abbott sites around the world.
