Who are we?
Asystec Limited is a Data Management Solution Provider based in Ireland. Our primary focus is to design solutions to assist companies to manage, secure and identify their key data assets within their organisation. We provide independent solutions from a number of market leading vendors, choosing the most appropriate technologies for our customer’s needs. We act as a single source for our customers providing them with end-to-end solutions. At Asystec we pride ourselves on our commitment to service and value for money.
The company incorporated in 2010 has offices in Limerick, Cork, Dublin and the UK, and currently employs 14 people.
What do we do?
Asystec is a technical integrator and distributor of Information Technology products and solutions in Ireland and the UK. Asystec is focussed on Enterprise class data management solutions from many key vendors including EMC, Varonis, Oracle, VMware, Hitachi, Cisco, VCE and Symantec. We provide skilled design, installation and support engineers to supply our customers with flexible, reliable and cost effective solutions and a high level of service.
The company was created in 2010 by the current management team who after 20+ years in the vendor and reseller community in Ireland recognised the demand for a focussed high value technical partner among the enterprise and SMB customers.
What is our value proposition?
Asystec bring many value propositions to the marketplace – most notably the professional services division which comprises of 5 Senior Technical Architects.
Asystec are committed to training and each of our Senior TC’s has up to date certifications with the vendor solutions that we sell. Our engineers have real world experience when it comes to deploying and managing a range of comprehensive IT solutions such as Data Governance, Backup and Archiving, Storage and Virtualisation.
The professional services division is an integral part of what makes Asystec good at what we do, and our TC’s have delivered numerous solutions to both leading Irish and global institutions such as Elavon, AIB, Irish Life, Permanent TSB, Fexco, Boston Scientific, Analog, and Pioneer investments to name but a few.
Our team of high quality engineers are locally accessible through our Cork, Limerick and Dublin offices and can be engaged to review current data management strategies and their implementation across the customer’s entire IT infrastructure. A key component of our PS division is keeping our customers aware of latest technologies and best practices within the IT marketplace.
What is our aim?
Asystec are still very much in a growth phase. We have been very successful to date in achieving our goals and we will strive for the development of our company and the good of our customers to execute our plan. Our goal is to become the best data management partner in Ireland focusing on specific areas of Storage, Backup, DR, and Data Governance. Our model is to this through a number of highly experienced sales people and technical architects with full nationwide coverage. Some of the major developments for the company over the next 12-18 months are:
- We are in the process of building a new centre of excellence which will be based out of the head office in Limerick.
- Expansion of our professional services team.
- SRM training certification which will enable us to become Irelands only certified partner with the ability to deliver the SRM product suite.
- Expansion of our UK office and team.
- Building on our Varonis business as we are the only reseller in Ireland – we have just put in place a new dedicated team and we expect this to be a key growth area for the company.
- Asystec are fully committed to developing and promoting the Cork region as an IT resource rich hub within Ireland and Europe as well as further developing new and existing relationships through our it@cork membership.
All of the above expansions are part of our original plan to become Ireland’s leading Data Management Solution provider. We are different to most resellers in that we have a very real ambition to become something that doesn’t currently exist in the reseller community in Ireland.
Our People:
The Asystec team is made up of highly qualified and experienced people. The company has invested in the highest level of resource from an account management, engineering and product specialisation perspective, growing from 2 employees in 2010 to 14 in 2013. Our employees come from key field engagements including senior account management roles with market leading vendors, customer technical architecture and management teams as well as support and service delivery organisations. The level of experience among the Asystec team ensures shortest time to the realisation of our customers’ requirements in these areas.
What is a good business day for us?
A good business day for Asystec is when all entities in the organization engage and deliver against customer commitments and expectations. It happens when the team from sales, finance, engineering and marketing engage with the marketplace and/or the Asystec customer base to help deliver solutions that add value and increase knowledge of how to leverage technology to meet business objectives.
While many situations such as new certifications, being nominated for awards all constitute a good working day, the one constant would be happy satisfied customers and that is the ultimate goal for the entire team. From the initial engagements by the account managers – to onsite reviews by our team of engineers, the mark of a good day is positive feedback from those that we touch base with.
At Asystec we pride ourselves on the level of expertise we can bring to a project, and if the outcome is a customer who is happy then that means we have achieved our goals.
